Seeking Funeral Director/Embalmer Internship OR Embalmer Apprenticeship

I am looking for a position as either a Funeral Director/Embalmer Intern or as an Embalmer Apprentice. 

I have been studying Mortuary Science at SPC since 2021, and I am on track to graduate come May 2024. I have been preforming and observing embalming since August 2023.
My work experience does not include funeral home experience, but for the past 5 years, I have been employed as a client service coordinator at Ameriprise Financial. In this position, I am trusted with confidential client information, preform data entry tasks, schedule appointments, and arrange client events.
I believe the work skills I’ve obtained over the years, coupled with what I’ve learned at SPC, will make me a valuable asset to any funeral home.

Though I am currently employed, my employer knows of my search for a position at a funeral home, and they are prepared for me to leave effective immediately. I can begin work as soon as needed.
