Yes, each preneed contract is written to fit the needs  of the individual, whether they choose a traditional funeral/burial, cremation, scattering, etc. After signing a preneed contract, your preneed funds can  be transferred to the funeral home in a new location.
 If the funeral home changes ownership, all preneed contracts from the previous ownership will be  honored and fulfilled as originally written by the new ownership.
 If a funeral home goes out of business, the funeral home is required to notify all clients of the closure. When you have an existing preneed contract with a closing funeral home, you can have your preneed funds transferred to a new funeral home of your choosing.
While there is not a time-frame within which you must   write a preneed, most consumers choose to sign their  prearrangements between 55-75 years of age.
Yes. Insurance is for your family. Preneed is to lock   in the cost of your funeral services at today’s prices.  They can work together seamlessly.
Yes, if the contract was not used for the intended beneficiary at their death. Only the proper legal next of kin may apply for the refund and only in the case in   which the contract was not made irrevocable. 
In most cases, yes. Preneed funeral contracts can be made to guarantee that families will not owe additional funds for the contracted/specified services or merchandise provided by the funeral home. Every prearrangement contract is unique, and your funeral home will assist you with options.
Preneed sales are licensed by the state of Florida. They are audited and guaranteed by the Division of Funeral, Cemetery and Consumer Services and the Consumer Protection Trust Fund administered by the state. 
The right of disposition is in reference to the person or group of people who have the right to determine funeral or cremation arrangements. Preneed can be a tremendous benefit and relief for individuals with second marriages, companions, estranged family members, next of kin children, godchildren, as well as others.
