Seeking Funeral Director and Embalmer Internship

I am seeking a funeral director and embalmer internship.

I currently work for the DoD as a civilian. I have customer service and relations experience with all ages, but more experience with seniors and those with age related disabilities.

I attend St. Petersburg College, at which I have embalmed before (I am currently in Embalming II). In the Fall of 2023, I was awarded the Mark Hornibrook Memorial scholarship from the Funeral Services Foundation. I have also assisted Heartwood Preserve with their burial crew.

Ideally, I hope to start a concurrent internship by the beginning of August (final grades post July 26th), as my last semester is this Fall. I cannot begin any earlier, as a class I am taking in the summer is required before I can apply for an internship. 

I am currently located on the East Coast, but I am entirely willing to relocate for an opportunity. I have a preference for Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties, but when it comes down to it, I'm open to anywhere.

I am available to start on July 26, 2024.
