Luke Grabowski is a graduate of Michigan State University and the Florida State College of Law. During law school, he worked part-time as an assistant with Mixon and Associates. He became interested in the issues facing independent funeral homes while analyzing, writing position flyers and drafting IFDF legislation and rules.
Following law school in 2012, he began representing the IFDF and the deathcare profession. His law practice rapidly expanded into insurance, personnel, liability, and contracts. Throughout the years, he continued to work for the IFDF, the entirety of the funeral industry in these areas as well as trusts and contracts. He is extremely competent with courts, agency, and the State Board of Funeral, Cemetery, and Consumer Services.
Today, he is the "go to" expert on law and rules which govern our profession. The IFDF employs him as General Counsel. Whether it is construction, an employee issue, sale or transfer of your funeral home, a contract or a problem before the Board of Funeral, Cemetery, and Consumer Services, the Association recommends without hesitation Luke to all Independents in Florida.
