Cheryl L. Lankford is a licensed funeral director and owner of Lankford Funeral Home & Crematory in Deland, Florida. She grew up in her family’s funeral business. Lankford earned her degree in mortuary science from Miami-Dade College in 1978. Lankford has more than 40 years of experience in funeral home management and ownership. She is a past president of the Independent Funeral Directors of Florida and is actively involved in promoting consumer awareness related to the rules and regulations that govern the funeral profession.
